When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. As you use Trade Summit, we store the trade data you enter, including symbols, prices, profit and loss figures, and account configurations. We also collect basic usage analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide and improve the Trade Summit service. We use your email to authenticate you and send service-related communications. Your trade data is used to generate your analytics, dashboards, and reports. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and served via Vercel. All data is transmitted over TLS encryption. We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, secure authentication, and regular security reviews.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Trade Summit:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / EEA)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data in your account settings.
• Right to erasure — delete your account and all associated data immediately from Settings → Delete my account, or by contacting us through our support page.
• Right to data portability — export your trade data in CSV format from within the app. For a full data export, contact us through our support page.
• Right to restrict processing — contact us to pause processing of your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days. Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.

7. Cookies

Trade Summit uses session cookies solely for authentication purposes. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. No data is shared with ad networks.

8. Children's Privacy

Trade Summit is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email for material changes.
